Authorized Financial Institutions
Pursuant to an Order of the Supreme Court of Washington, lawyers and limited practice officers may only hold IOLTA deposits in financial institutions that have been certified as eligible by the Legal Foundation of Washington. Authorized financial institutions are those in compliance with the interest rate comparability and other provisions of ELC 15.4, ELC 15.7 and ELPOC 15.4 governing IOLTA and other trust accounts.
